Within the framework of the official visit to Vietnam by Austrian Federal Minister for European and International Affairs – H.E. Alexander Schallenberg, from 16 April to 18 April 2023, in the afternoon dated 17 April in Hanoi, the Austrian Embassy and the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber coordinated with the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) to organize Austria – Vietnam Forum on Infrastructure and Technology Cooperation. Leaders of the Ministry of Construction, Vietnam Fire & Rescue Association (VFRA), leading Vietnamese businesses and leading Austrian businesses in security, green technology, and automobile manufacturing attended the panel session.

In 2022, Vietnam and Austria celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations, the establishment of the Vietnam – Austria Friendship Association is of great significance, which practically contributes to promoting the Vietnam-Austria friendship cooperation into depth, becoming more cohesive and durable.
